Visiting the blessed city of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) is something Muslims all around the world aspire towards.

Madinah (also known as al-Madinah al-Munawwarah – The Illuminated City) is home to the Prophet’s Mosque (al-Masjid an-Nabawi), his (saw) grave, the graves of many of his Companions (ra), and many other notable religious and historical sites.

The Prophet’s Mosque is the second most sacred site in Islam; the others being al-Masjid al-Haram (The Sacred Masjid) in Makkah and al-Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem.

The reward for prayers performed in these three mosques are multiplied many times more than anywhere else.

Muslim from far and wide visit Madinah throughout the year, especially before and after they perform the religious pilgrimages of Hajj and ‘Umrah. There are so many places you can see within the blessed city.

We’ve developed a map of Madinah, so you make the most of your visit to Madinah. The locations of landmarks, a map of al-Masjid an-Nabawi itself, and so many fascinating facts have been beautifully laid out in this exclusive resource, all at your fingertips.
