Where: Meet at the Astro Family Restaurant parking lot. From there, we will carpool to three convalescent hospitals in the Silver Lake area, then return for dinner at the restaurant. Follow the links for directions.

When: Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Try to beat holiday traffic and be there at 12:30.

Who: All interested alumni and collegiate Sinfonians.

Why: To bring holiday cheer to patients at convalescent hospitals, in honor of Ossian Mills, who began the practice in our fraternity about a century ago.

What: The itinerary is as follows: We will meet at the Astro Family Restaurant at 1:00. We will warm up and run through a few songs. At 1:40 we will carpool to Serrano Convalescent Hospital, and sing to patients in their rooms from 2:00 to 2:40. When finished, we will drive to Virgil Convalescent Hospital, and sing there from 3:00 to 3:40. At that time, we will go to Garden Crest Convalescent Hospital, where we will sing from 4:00 to 4:40. We will then drive back to the Astro Family Restaurant for dinner at around 5:00 pm.

How much: Dinner is on your own. It's an inexpensive restaurant.
